Dar Almandumah—continuing its tradition of supporting scholarly conferences and events—participated as an official sponsor of the 21st Annual Conference and Exhibition of the Special Libraries Association, Arabian Gulf Chapter, held in Abu Dhabi from March 17 to 19, 2015.
Dar Almandumah also had a dedicated booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which—as usual—attracted notable interest from exhibition visitors and conference participants. Among the most prominent visitors to the booth was Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, following his inauguration of the accompanying exhibition. He listened to a brief introduction to Dar Almandumah, its role in publishing Arabic scholarly content, and the latest services launched that year.
The University President expressed his admiration for the achievements and progress Dar Almandumah had reached in terms of the size and capabilities of its databases, in addition to the major role it plays in supporting researchers and scholarly research across the Arab world.
