{"id":5876,"date":"2012-04-24T09:28:13","date_gmt":"2012-04-24T06:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mandumah.com\/f30e67fb8530df7ae11d55f814038fcb182a19fbad820817d501c48405703f5ad8f30e67fb8530df7ae11d55f814038fcb182a19fbad820817d501c48405703f5aaaf30e67fb8530df7ae11d55f814038fcb182a19fbad820817d501c48405703f5-3\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T02:31:21","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T23:31:21","slug":"launch-of-edusearch-educational-database","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mandumah.com\/en\/launch-of-edusearch-educational-database\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of EduSearch Educational Database"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"rteright\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rteright\">On the morning of Tuesday, 21\/4\/1431 AH, corresponding to 6\/4\/2010, the <span dir=\"LTR\">EduSearch<\/span> educational database was officially launched as part of the activities of the 6th Conference of the Saudi Library and Information Association, held under the title \u201cSecure Information Environment: Concepts, Legislation, and Applications\u201d at the InterContinental Hotel in Riyadh. <span dir=\"LTR\">EduSearch<\/span> was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin \u0633\u0639\u062f Al-Salem, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Fahd National Library and Member of the Shura Council, in the presence of Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Ruwais, Vice Rector of King Saud University, and a large audience.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/300.jpg\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 399px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"rteright\">The company\u2019s General Manager, Dr. Ali bin Shuwaish Al-Shuwaish, stated to several Saudi newspapers that <span dir=\"LTR\">EduSearch<\/span> is a comprehensive educational database that serves specialists and researchers in the fields of education and teaching. It covers nearly all Arabic-language scholarly educational journals, exceeding 220 specialized Arabic scientific journals and periodicals, in addition to conference proceedings and research papers in education and teaching, which total nearly 500 conferences and seminars. It is the first full-text Arabic database in the fields of education, teaching, and related disciplines, and all research papers included in the database are stored in <span dir=\"LTR\">PDF<\/span> format identical to the original printed version.
