This participation in the annual conference, which the consortium refers to as \u201cANKOS Link\u201d<\/span>, came out of Dar Almandumah\u2019s desire to connect with its current and future clients. Dar Almandumah already serves a number of Turkish universities and academic institutions, and this conference provided an opportunity to meet them and strengthen relationships with them more closely.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the conference, meetings were held with the senior management of the Turkish consortium, represented by Mr. Sami Kokader, President of the consortium. It was agreed with His Excellency the President that Dar Almandumah\u2019s databases would be included in the consortium\u2019s subscription list for the following year, 2017, after completion of the formal membership procedures.<\/p>\n Dar Almandumah also reaffirmed its strong desire and commitment to engaging actively with the Turkish academic community and addressing the urgent need for comprehensive Arabic information resources that can be relied upon by students and researchers at Turkish universities, which number nearly 200 public and private institutions.
