The Egyptian Library and Information Association in Cairo organized its 20th National Conference from July 8 to 10, 2018, in Cairo, under the title \u201cInformation Facilities in the Digital Age and Future Prospects,\u201d with the theme \u201cModern Management: The Fast Track to Progress.\u201d The conference was held under the patronage of Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Azmy, Chairman of the National Library and Archives, and chaired by Dr. Amani Mogahid, Chair of the Egyptian Library, Information, and Archives Association, with the participation of researchers from various Arab countries and professors of library and information departments at Egyptian and other Arab universities.<\/p>\n

Dar Almandumah sponsored the conference and presented an award for the two best research papers, which were granted during the conference to the two papers nominated by the conference\u2019s scientific committee.<\/p>\n

Dar Almandumah also participated with a booth at the conference, which attracted strong interest from participants and visitors, as Dar Almandumah databases are among the resources currently available throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt through the \u201cEgyptian Knowledge Bank Project,\u201d launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on November 14, 2015.<\/p>\n
