As part of its support for scholarly research and its efforts to expand access to digital content, Dar Almandumah participated in an expanded meeting that brought together representatives of international publishing houses on Sunday, 19/1/2025, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, along with a number of leaders in education and scholarly research.
During the meeting, Dar Almandumah signed a cooperation agreement with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, with the aim of enhancing access to its digital resources and expanding the base of beneficiaries from its services within academic and research communities. Dar Almandumah affirmed its commitment to supporting innovation and knowledge transfer by providing integrated solutions for researchers and students.
For her part, Dr. Gina El-Feky reviewed the achievements of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, noting its role in advancing Egypt to 25th place globally in the Scimago ranking for scholarly publishing, in addition to providing thousands of digital resources including journals, books, and master’s and doctoral theses.
Participants emphasized the importance of this cooperation in strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for scholarly research and knowledge, praising the pivotal role of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank in supporting researchers and increasing scholarly publishing by 20% over the past two years.
This agreement comes as a continuation of Dar Almandumah’s journey of cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, as well as its efforts to expand its partnerships and strengthen digital academic content in the region and worldwide.
