Benha University held a specialized scientific conference in libraries and information under the title “Challenges of University Libraries in the Third Millennium” from November 24 to 25, 2015. Dar Almandumah sponsored the conference in support of the libraries and information sector, especially university libraries, as libraries entered a new era at the beginning of the third millennium, one fundamentally driven by information technologies that have become the backbone of communication in the modern age.
Dar Almandumah also participated with a booth at the conference, which attracted strong interest from participants, especially as Dar Almandumah was at that time preparing to make its services available throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt through the “Egyptian Knowledge Portal Project,” launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on November 14 of that month.
