Organized by the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, the Faculty’s annual international conference was inaugurated under the title “Women and Shaping the Future” from April 3 to 4, 2017, at the Triumph Hotel in Heliopolis. The conference was opened under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, Professor Abdel Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, and Professor Suzanne El-Qallini, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of professors and researchers from across the Arab world.

Dar Almandumah sponsored this conference in support of the university’s distinguished scholarly and research efforts and as a reflection of its commitment to participating in scholarly and academic events that serve the Arab researcher.
Dar Almandumah also participated with a dedicated booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which attracted strong interest from university professors and other participants. They emphasized that the inclusion of Dar Almandumah databases within the “Egyptian Knowledge Bank” had provided them with a highly valuable opportunity to access a large share of research papers and academic theses across the Arab world.
