For the fifth consecutive year, Dar Almandumah sponsored the 5th International Conference on Electronic Publishing and its accompanying exhibition, organized by the University Library and held at the Kempinski Hotel in Amman from September 24 to 26, 2019, under the theme “Innovation, Participation, and Sustainability,” under the patronage of Professor Abdul Karim Al-Qudah, President of the University, and chaired by Dr. Nishrwan Tahat, Director of the University of Jordan Library.
This sponsorship came as a reflection of the distinguished partnership between Dar Almandumah and the University of Jordan. Dar Almandumah participated as an official sponsor of the conference and its accompanying exhibition, with a dedicated booth that, as usual, attracted strong interest from exhibition visitors and conference participants.
During the opening of the exhibition, the event patron praised the outstanding level of partnership between the university and Dar Almandumah, noting that it had become a model to be followed by Arab universities. He also highlighted that Dar Almandumah’s databases had become a primary source for researchers across the Arab world. He further commended Dar Almandumah’s major role in recent years in raising the quality of scholarly research in the Arab world, particularly while commenting on the International Arabic Citation Index project being developed in partnership with Dar Almandumah.
