Beni Suef University held the 2nd Scientific Conference on Information Sciences at the Faculty of Arts under the title “The Transition to a Knowledge Society” from April 12 to 13, 2016. Dar Almandumah sponsored the conference in support of the libraries and information sector in Arab universities, as knowledge economies have become a major focus for the world’s leading economies and one of the most important areas of investment in the modern era.
Dar Almandumah also participated with a booth at the conference, which attracted strong interest from participants, especially since Dar Almandumah’s databases had become available throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt through the “Egyptian Knowledge Bank Portal Project,” launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on November 14 of the previous year.
