Dar Almandumah sponsored the 24th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (I’lam): “Library and Information Profession and Studies: Current Status and Future Trends,” held in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, on November 26–27, 2013.
The company’s sponsorship of this conference came in support of this major Arab gathering, which is held annually in one of the Arab cities. This year’s conference was marked by strong attendance from those interested in the field of libraries and information across the Arab world.

Dar Almandumah’s distinguished booth at this year’s exhibition accompanying the conference attracted remarkable interest from conference participants. In addition, Dr. Musaed bin Saleh Al-Tayyar, Deputy General Manager of the company, presented a paper entitled “Dar Almandumah and Leadership in Arabic Databases,” in which he highlighted the company’s major achievements and leadership in the field of Arabic databases, not only at the Arab level but also globally, as the company’s databases—with holdings exceeding half a million research papers and studies—represent the largest Arabic scholarly content currently available on the internet.
In addition, the President of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information, Dr. Hassan bin Awad Al-Suraihi, honored the company during the conference’s closing ceremony. Mr. Salah Al-Menshawy, Director of Marketing at the company, received a commemorative shield on this occasion.
