In an initiative aimed at broadening the horizons of institutional cooperation and ensuring wider dissemination of Arabic research published in the journals of the Scientific Publishing Council at Kuwait University, the University’s Research Sector signed a scholarly cooperation agreement with Dar Almandumah. The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Prof. Hassan Al-Sanad, Vice President for Research, and on behalf of Dar Almandumah by Dr. Ali Al-Shuwaish, General Manager of the company. This agreement opened the door to including scholarly studies published in the journals of the Scientific Publishing Council within Dar Almandumah’s databases, which are considered the largest reference source at the Arab level, as they include the vast majority of scholarly research journals across the Arab world.
Dar Almandumah’s databases provide electronic linking that enables access to Arabic research and studies for the benefit of professors, researchers, and experts. On this occasion, Prof. Hassan Al-Sanad spoke of the importance of having a stable and trusted platform for presenting and publishing the diverse intellectual wealth of Arabic scholarly research and studies produced by researchers across the Arab world—content that requires organized presentation and distinguished indexing to benefit the scholarly community. He emphasized that the cooperation between the Research Sector and Dar Almandumah represents a highly important step in this direction.
