The World Islamic Sciences and Education University in Jordan, represented by its President, Professor Salman Fadheel Al-Budour, and in the presence of Professor Mohammad Al-Arnaout, Director of the University Central Library, signed a licensing agreement for making the university’s academic theses and peer-reviewed scholarly journals available with Dar Almandumah, the leading company in Arabic databases specializing in Arabic electronic scholarly publishing.
On behalf of Dar Almandumah, the agreement was signed by Mr. Salah Al-Menshawy, Director of Marketing at the company. The agreement aims to build bridges of partnership and cooperation between the two parties through the inclusion of academic theses (master’s and doctoral) and peer-reviewed scholarly journals in Dar Almandumah’s databases.
The agreement provides for the availability of academic theses in full text within Dar Almandumah’s databases, while the university retains its intellectual property rights. Through this agreement, the university seeks to make its scholarly content and academic output available to researchers and scholars at both the local and Arab levels.
