The Department of Libraries, Archives, and Information at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, in cooperation with the National Library and Archives of Egypt, held its 11th Scientific Conference under the title: “Together for the New Future of Information Professions and Studies at the Arab and Global Levels,” during April 23–24, 2018, at the New Central Library of Cairo University. The conference was inaugurated under the generous patronage of Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, and Dr. Mohamed Othman El-Khosht, President of Cairo University.

Dar Almandumah participated as an official sponsor of the conference, continuing its efforts to support scholarly events and forums in the field of libraries and information at both the local and Arab levels. Dar Almandumah also delivered a speech during the conference opening ceremony, presented by Dr. Musaed Al-Tayyar, Deputy General Manager of Dar Almandumah, in which he emphasized the importance of the role played by private-sector institutions in supporting scholarly events and conferences—a role Dar Almandumah is honored to contribute to through its sponsorship of this conference.
Dar Almandumah also had its distinguished booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which attracted many visitors and participants among researchers and interested professionals, who affirmed the excellence of Dar Almandumah databases and regarded them as a primary scholarly source in their research efforts and projects.
