Dar Almandumah, the leading company in the field of Arabic databases, launched the beta version of its new smart platform, “Almandumah AI,” during its participation in the Special Libraries Association – Arabian Gulf Chapter Conference (SLA25).
The new platform aims to create a major leap in academic research by enabling users to interact with Dar Almandumah’s databases through generative artificial intelligence technologies, in a way that simulates intelligent conversational systems such as ChatGPT. This allows researchers to obtain accurate and rapid answers drawn from the sources available within Dar Almandumah’s databases.
Dar Almandumah introduced the platform during the first session of the conference under the title:
“The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Dar Almandumah Databases,” presented by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Shuwaish Al-Shuwaish during the conference’s first scientific session.
Dar Almandumah also invited conference participants to visit its booth at the accompanying exhibition, where a live demonstration of the new platform was made available, giving visitors the opportunity to explore its advanced capabilities firsthand—capabilities that redefine the ways academic knowledge is searched and accessed.
Dar Almandumah affirmed that the launch of “Almandumah AI” is a continuation of its journey in supporting Arab academic and scholarly research, while keeping pace with global transformations in the use of artificial intelligence technologies to serve knowledge.
