Dar Almandumah participated in the 25th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (اعلم): the Conference of the late Professor Abdel Latif Soufi, under the title “Standards of Quality Performance in Libraries, Information Centers, and Archives,” held in Hammamet, Tunisia, from October 28 to 30, 2014.
Dar Almandumah’s participation in this conference reflected its commitment to maintaining a strong presence at scholarly events related to libraries, as a supporter and key partner for researchers and specialists in the fields of libraries and scholarly research across the Arab world, and to maintaining continuous communication with its clients among specialists and researchers in Arab universities. This year’s conference was marked by strong attendance from those interested in the field of libraries and information across the Arab world.
Dar Almandumah’s booth at this year’s exhibition accompanying the conference attracted remarkable interest from conference participants. The exhibition was inaugurated by His Excellency Mourad Sakli, Minister of Culture of Tunisia. During his visit to Dar Almandumah’s booth, he reviewed the latest developments and updates related to Dar Almandumah’s databases and expressed his great admiration for the significant efforts made by Dar Almandumah in supporting scholarly research across the Arab world.
