Dar Almandumah Signs Strategic Agreement with Al-Azhar University

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Arabic and Islamic scholarly content across digital platforms, Dar Almandumah Databases, a leader in the field of Arabic scholarly databases, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Al-Azhar University, one of the most prominent academic institutions in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

This agreement, signed on Thursday, 29/12/2024, aims to make all Arabic-language journals published by Al-Azhar University available in full digital format through Dar Almandumah Databases, contributing to the wider dissemination of Arabic and Islamic scholarly and cultural content at both the local and international levels.

Dar Almandumah expressed its delight with this collaboration, emphasizing that the agreement reflects its commitment to supporting leading academic institutions such as Al-Azhar University, which is regarded as a major destination for scholarly research, particularly in the fields of theology, Arabic language, Sharia, and law.

Dr. Mahmoud Sedik, Vice President of Al-Azhar University for Graduate Studies and Research, explained that this cooperation is the result of the efforts of the university’s International Excellence Office and reflects the university’s vision of supporting knowledge and promoting contemporary Arab and Islamic thought by enhancing the presence of its scholarly journals on global digital platforms.

It is worth noting that Al-Azhar University is one of the largest universities in terms of publishing distinguished scholarly journals, with more than sixty journals, further strengthening its position in supporting Arabic and Islamic scholarly research on a global scale.

Through this ambitious project, Dar Almandumah reaffirms its commitment to providing digital solutions that support Arab and Islamic intellectual production and to continuing its collaboration with universities and academic institutions in pursuit of its goals of advancing scholarly research.
