As part of Dar Almandumah’s efforts to build and develop Arabic databases that serve the scientific and academic community across the Arab world, the company has continuously worked to establish strategic partnerships with publishers of Arabic scholarly content, such as universities, institutes, and scientific organizations, in order to make their published academic content available to Arab researchers while preserving their intellectual property rights.
Within these efforts, the company focused over the past years on negotiating with Egyptian universities to make their scholarly journals and conferences available through Dar Almandumah’s databases. By the grace of God, the company has now completed agreements with all Egyptian universities, which are considered among the leading universities in the Arab world with strong interest in scholarly publishing across a wide range of academic disciplines.
The list of contracted universities includes: 1- Cairo University, 2- Ain Shams University, 3- Alexandria University, 4- Al-Azhar University, 5- Helwan University, 6- Mansoura University, 7- Assiut University, 8- Beni Suef University, 9- Zagazig University, 10- Sohag University, 11- Benha University, 12- Suez Canal University, 13- Port Said University, 14- South Valley University, 15- Minia University, 16- Menoufia University, 17- Tanta University, 18- Fayoum University, 19- Sohag University, 20- Kafr El-Sheikh University, 21- Sadat Academy for Management Sciences.
Under these agreements, the company obtained the right to provide access to all of these journals and scientific conferences through the databases it produces, such as the Educational Database EduSearch, the Economics and Management Database EcoLink, and the Islamic and Legal Studies Database IslamicInfo.
This undoubtedly represents a distinguished addition and a qualitative leap in enriching Arabic scholarly content and making it available to Arab researchers and scholars.
