As a culmination of the distinguished relationship between Dar Almandumah and the University of Jordan, Dar Almandumah participated as an official sponsor of the 1st International Conference on Electronic Publishing and its accompanying exhibition, organized by the University Library and held at the university campus from July 27 to 29, 2015. The conference was held under the title “The Impact of Social Media on Electronic Publishing” and was graciously patronized by Professor Akel Biltaji Al-Tarawneh, President of the University of Jordan.
Dar Almandumah also had a distinguished participation with a dedicated booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which—as usual—attracted notable interest from exhibition visitors and conference participants.
Among the most prominent visitors to the booth was the patron of the event, Professor Akel Biltaji Al-Tarawneh, President of the University of Jordan, following his inauguration of the accompanying exhibition. He listened to a brief introduction to Dar Almandumah, its role in publishing Arabic scholarly content, and the latest services launched that year.
The University President expressed his admiration for the achievements and progress Dar Almandumah had reached in terms of the size and capabilities of its databases, in addition to the major role it plays in supporting researchers and scholarly research across the Arab world.
