The Association of Islamic Universities, in cooperation with the Egyptian Geographical Society, held its international conference under the title “Environment, Population, and Development in the Countries of the Islamic World” at the Saleh Kamel Center for Islamic Economics at Al-Azhar University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, from December 13 to 15, 2016. Dar Almandumah was the sole official sponsor of this conference, in support of scholarly research efforts across all disciplines, including Islamic studies, which hold a prominent place within its extensive database system.
Dar Almandumah also participated with a booth at the conference, which attracted strong interest from participants, especially as Dar Almandumah’s databases had become available throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt through the “Egyptian Knowledge Portal Project.”
