The Faculty of Education at Zagazig University organized its annual international conference from January 29 to 30, 2017, at the university campus in Zagazig, under the title “The Educational Effectiveness of Faculties of Education in the Arab World.” The conference was held under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf El-Shehhi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Dr. El-Hilaly El-Sherbiny, Minister of Education; Major General Khaled Saeed, Governor of Al Sharqia; and Dr. Khaled Abdelbary, President of Zagazig University, with the participation of professors and researchers from various Arab countries.
Dar Almandumah sponsored this conference in support of the faculty’s scholarly and research efforts, especially the distinguished researchers at the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University.
Dar Almandumah also contributed scientifically to the conference through a paper presented by Dr. Musaed bin Saleh Al-Tayyar, Deputy General Manager of the company, in which he discussed the role of databases in supporting the effectiveness of scholarly research in educational studies.
Dar Almandumah also participated with a booth at the conference, which attracted strong interest from faculty members and other participants, especially after Dar Almandumah’s services were made available through the “Egyptian Knowledge Bank,” which provides access to Dar Almandumah databases for all users at the university and across the Arab Republic of Egypt.
