The Saudi Library and Information Association organized its 8th Conference under the title “Information Institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Their Role in Supporting the Knowledge Economy and Society: Responsibilities, Challenges, Mechanisms, and Aspirations,” during the period from 11 to 13 Safar 1439 AH. The conference was inaugurated under the patronage of Prince Dr. Naif bin Thunayan Al Saud, Dean of the College of Arts at King Saud University.
Dar Almandumah participated as an official sponsor of the conference, continuing its efforts to support scholarly events and forums in the field of libraries and information, both at the local level and across the Arab world.
Dar Almandumah also had its distinguished booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which attracted many visitors, researchers, and interested professionals who affirmed the importance of Dar Almandumah’s databases and regarded them as a primary scholarly source for their research efforts and projects.
