In confirmation of the strategic partnership between Dar Almandumah and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, Dar Almandumah participated in Learn-Tech MEA within the Cairo International Communications and Information Technology Conference and Exhibition (Cairo ICT 2018). The event was inaugurated on November 25, 2018, by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the presence of a number of ministers and officials from داخل the Arab Republic of Egypt and abroad.
Dar Almandumah had its own booth at the exhibition, which was honored by visits from a number of officials and those interested in libraries and scholarly research, most notably the Egyptian Minister of Education, Dr. Tarek Shawky, who affirmed his pride in the distinguished partnership between Dar Almandumah and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which was recently crowned by the signing of a partnership agreement to establish the first International Arabic Citation Index.
A dedicated session was also included in the conference program to present the most prominent contributions of publishers working with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, including Dar Almandumah through its strategic partnership with the Bank. During this session, the company’s General Manager, Dr. Ali bin Shuwaish Al-Shuwaish, gave a brief presentation on the most notable achievements in this regard.
