Dar Almandumah also had a dedicated booth within the exhibition accompanying the conference, which—as usual—attracted notable interest from exhibition visitors and conference participants. Among the most prominent visitors to the booth were His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zaher Al-Hinai, State Advisor, and Dr. Khalfan bin Zahran Al-Hajri, President of the Omani Libraries and Information Association. They, along with other attendees, listened to a brief introduction to Dar Almandumah and its role in publishing Arabic scholarly content, as well as the latest services launched that year. This participation also highlighted Dar Almandumah’s strategic partnership with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank and Clarivate, which was recently crowned by the signing of a partnership agreement to launch the Arabic International Citation Index.
His Excellency expressed his admiration for the achievements and progress Dar Almandumah has reached in terms of the size and capabilities of its databases, in addition to the major role it plays at both the regional and international levels in supporting scholarly research across the Arab world.
