Continuing its efforts in digital scholarly publishing and cultural and knowledge exchange, Dar Almandumah sponsored the MELA Conference (Middle East Librarians Association).
The MELA conference was held from October 31 to November 2 and brought together more than 200 librarians specializing in the Middle East and North Africa from around the world. The conference featured a variety of research papers, seminars, and workshops on topics related to Middle Eastern and North African studies.
As part of its commitment to publishing Arabic digital scholarly content, Dar Almandumah delivered a presentation on the use of its databases and their rich content of research papers, studies, and academic theses. The company also presented an information session on Dar Almandumah databases and their role in enriching Arabic research resources for beneficiaries and researchers worldwide.
The presentation was well received by conference participants, who expressed their appreciation for Dar Almandumah’s efforts in advancing the standard of digital scholarly publishing across the Arab world.
It is worth noting that The Center for Research Libraries (CRL), a consortium of American research universities, is among Dar Almandumah’s clients.
